Funeral Services

We have created this page with the details of  services where we can remember, celebrate and give thanks for, the lives of our friends and colleagues at this present time.

Reverend Peter Dainty

We understand that many of you in normal circumstances would have wished to attend the funeral and thanksgiving service for Ken Button.  Unfortunately, owing to the present  restrictions, we were limited as to  the number of people who were able to attend.  Therefore we are offering the Order of Service for the funeral and thanksgiving service, which took place on Friday 22nd January at 1:30pm.

Rev Jeffrey Bloomfield

Dear All

We are sending this email to provide you with the details to enable you to join us and virtually attend the funeral of the Reverend Jeffrey Frank Bloomfield, B.A. ACP, chaplain of the Order of St John, a beloved husband and darling Dad.

The funeral will be held on the 18th November 2020 at 12:30pm. The service will take place in the Abbey Chapel at the West Suffolk Crematorium, Risby.

We are sorry that you will not be able to join us in person due to the current restrictions, but it will be comforting to know that you will be with us, sharing in the service.

We will hold a Thanksgiving Service for Jeffrey next year and look forward to many of you joining us then.

Dear Friends

Michael Fenn

Wednesday 28th October 2020 was the Thanksgiving service for the life of Michael.  Due to current circumstances I know that many of you who would have liked to have been at his service cannot, but it would be good if you could set some time aside to remember him.  The service at West Suffolk Crematorium is at 10.00 am and at Trinity Methodist Church in Bury St Edmunds at 11.00 am.

Below you will find both services in full. I have included all the prayers, Bible reading and the tribute.

Also you will find the order of service that will be given out at the church.

We thank God for the life of Michael and that we have had the privilege to be part of that life.

The executors of the will have asked that donations are for Trinity Methodist Church which was a big part of his life and any gifts can be sent to the Circuit Office, please make cheques payable to Trinity Methodist Church.

I ask your prayers for the family and friends

God bless
