Craft - Activity - Worship - Teatime Sorted

Messy Church is all about witnessing to our Christian faith by sharing the love of God with all through Craft, Activity, Worship and Food!  All children are welcome, accompanied by an adult (parents, grandparents or guardians), and adults must be accompanied by a child!  Usually held on the second Sunday of the month at 4:00pm, it's for all ages.  Each session includes craft activities and an act of worship.  We finish with a meal (provided by our catering team), ending at around 6:00pm.

Messy Church can be found all round the world.  Ours has a link with a Messy Church at Christ Church Cathedral in Port Stanley in the Falklands!

So come along, enjoy try out some new crafts and activities, worship God and enjoy food afterwards - and have fun.  And do please invite friends to come along with you.  All are welcome!

"Jesus breaks the Rules, shows Compassion and Fairness"

(John 8 v. 1 - 11)

Jesus Loves You

One of the children asked his parents who the boss was at Messy Church!  They asked Val Matthews, and she said it was a team effort.  We had a great team on this occasion.  It was good to have worthwhile chats with everybody.  All aspects worked well and we hope we got the message over in the activities and the worship which had hilarious moments.

A moment to savour for those fortunate enough to see was  one of our boys singing every word of One More Step holding his hymn book open with the most angelic choir boy look.  His sister had done the song for a recent music exam so they all knew it by heart!

On International Women’s Day  some of the girls made an excellent Jesus, a Pharisee and a lawyer.
